Final...B2(II) VS B2(I)
It was all set up for the clash of the season. With all the expectations doing the rounds it was but so obvious for the players to loose their focus, however what the crowd witnessed for the next hour or so was pure poetry. The beautiful game with all its grace was exhibited for all to behold. For a change all the passes found the right pair of legs. Players ready not only to sweat it out but bestow their blood as well to achieve the glory, the glory of being the best. The match report wouldn’t be complete without the mention of Dada and Rahul. Rahul easily the most feared of all the opponents and dada with the grace of a Royal Bengal Tiger matched each other kick for kick, not only in terms of guile but the passion for the game made them stand out of the crowd. The match started and continued the same way throughout the match with each team making up amazing chances but the stroke of luck eluding both the teams each time. It wasn’t until the last 5 mins of the 1st half that the game seemed partisan to any team, but suddenly lady luck smiled at the 2nd year B2 team when an error from the B2(I) defender earned them a penalty kick. It was left to Dada do the rest and as expected he didn’t goof up and it was 1-0 for the final years. That was it, the game moved on minute after minute, each team making up chances and the strong defence of both the teams ruining the same. The spectre laid on the field was to simply put Beautiful, but sad, the game has only one winner. B2(II) it was.
Final Result: B2(II) won 1-0.
